Presidential Advice

Leaving aside the issue of whether a citizen/politician can prescribe financial advice without a license, President George W. Bush recently instructed Americans to go out and consume to help the economy.

The President: 'Inflation risin'? Dow teeterin'? Dollar collapsin'? Unemployment escalatin'? Housing starts fallin'? Gasoline prices skyrocketin'? Social Security failin'? There's nuthin' to worry about. It's all just a coincidence. Go back to sleep, and God bless each and every one of you.'
